Version 2.1.1 is a minor update to Wynncraft.

Character Menu

  • Instead of being based on the inventory, the Character Menu instead shows your most recently played or favorited character alongside any active pets and a character card.
    • Character cards display the name of the character, the level, the class and its archetypes, and how much content has been completed on that character.
  • Instead of a black background, there is instead a setting showing various parts of Wynncraft.
    • Additional backgrounds can be chosen depending on your rank.
  • Right-clicking on the menu will bring up a revamped character select menu.
    • Characters can have customized icons, being a weapon on a colored background.
      • Players ranked HERO or higher can choose from a variety of colors to set as the icon's background.
  • Instead of showing a brief description when hovered over, the Character Creator Menu now shows classes performing various abilities in animations.

Raids

  • Raid Bosses fought in Guild Raids have extra abilities not available to the normal raid.
  • The Eroded Speedster's Gambit now reduces max health by 3% every 25 seconds.
  • The Nest of the Grootslangs's platform room has platforms rise twice as fast.
  • Orphion's Nexus of Light received the following changes:
    • Falling into the void in the maze room now does % HP damage instead of raw true damage.
    • The Parasite has been readded and revamped.
    • To account for the Parasite as a second phase, Orphion's health has been reduced.
  • The Canyon Colossus received the following changes:
    • The instruction room for the Lava Lake Room was changed.
    • The Parkour and Boulder Rush sub-challenges in the third room now require players to hold a flame from their respective entrances to activate seals. The flames make their holders unable to use spells, abilities, and mobility identifications.
      • Boulders in the Boulder Rush challenge have been slowed down to compensate for this.
      • The parkour in normal raids now has a checkpoint after the first launcher to compensate for this.
    • The player defending Elder Astal in the third room can no longer be targeted by mobs.
  • The Nameless Anomaly's tree room exit became slightly larger.

Quests

World Events

Ability Changes

  • Aspects can no longer be adjusted when your equipment is locked.

Warrior

  • Nerfed Discombobulate's max cap from 150 to 100.
  • Nerfed Battle Monk's Embodiment of Complete Synchrony from +30/50 Max Discombobulate at tier 1 and 3 to +25/40.

Assassin

  • A boss bar was added to Mirror Image to display current clones and their statuses.
  • Clones now reposition when dying so they are always at a correct location.
  • Forbidden Art was buffed so each clone now does +5% more damage and the damage cap was increased from -5% to +5%.

Mage

  • Devitalizing Winded now overrides normal Winded in order to apply an enemy debuff.

Shaman

  • Added two new abilities: Totem Shove and Friendly Fire, the latter being a Summoner ability.
    • Totem Shove: Casting Totem while looking at an existing totem will instead shove it forwards, dealing damage to any enemy it crashes into.
    • Friendly Fire: Hitting Puppets with your Main Attack causes them to lose 4s of their duration.
  • Removed More Effigies.
  • Buffed Totemic Smash's
    Neutral damage from 100% to 120%.
  • Puppets have a new visual display when their timer is nearing 0.
  • Crimson Effigies are now attached to Totems and have had their timers removed.
  • Crimson Effigies take more factors into consideration before selecting and attacking a target.
  • Totem and Totemic Smash now deal summon damage type.
  • Bullwhip now reapplies its duration when re-whipping enemies.
  • Awakened returns masks to its user when swapping between them.
  • Increased the range of Masks attaching to enemies when using Haunting Memory to make it easier to use.
  • Flaming Tongue now makes Haunting Memory no longer attach Masks to enemies.
  • Blood Sorrow is now cast with the sneak key and Uproot.

Hotfix #1

  • Fixed several bugs.
  • Unranked players can now customize each character's icon's symbol.
  • The rank requirement for the rest of the character icon colors was lowered from HERO to VIP+.
  • Reduced the damage of the left volcano in the Canyon Colossus's Guild Raid battle.
  • The damage of the Parasite's overtaken attacks was adjusted.
  • Reduced ingredient drops from Skittering Spiders.
  • Increased the angle of Totem Shove's detection.

  • /toggle war can also be used to block being teleported to a Guild War.
  • Spell Cost placeholder text in Set Bonus descriptions are changed to now reflect the current abilities for a class.
  • The Corkian Augment menu in Item Identifiers now requires a Corkian Augment to be put in the slot for them.
  • The green tick after identifying items in the Corkian Augment menu now directly places it into the player's inventory instead of rerolling the item.
  • Improved the reply command.
  • Re-implemented and improved the guild log.
  • Locked items can no longer be sold to the Blacksmith nor put in a loot or reward chest.

  • Failsafes were added to the following

  • Raid rewards now scale to the player's current combat level.
  • The Myopic and Farsighted's Gambits now use more accurate hitbox detection.
  • The Leaden Fighter's Gambit now increases spell mana costs by 1% for every 2% health instead of +1% mana cost at every 1% health.
  • Maddening Mage's Gambit was changed so spells misfire at every 6th spell instead of a 15% chance, with a sound cue to let players know. It also now appears less often.
  • Orphion's Nexus of Light received the following changes:
    • General:
      • Increased Base Aspect Pulls by +1.
      • Increased Guild Raid Aspect Pulls by +1.
      • Slightly increased the quantaties of Emeralds, Powders, and Corkian Amplifiers from the Raid Reward Chest.
      • Slightly increased the drop rates of all Tomes.
    • Orphion:
      • Orphion's health has been increased.
      • Solar Shower now fires projectiles more consistently, but it also fires a few more projectiles. Projectiles also move significantly slower and have a less volatile flight path.
      • During the black hole phase of Solar Shower, the projectiles now do substantially less damage.
      • The duration of the lingering light from Wild Charge has been reduced.
      • The Infection Ad Infinitum stages now have a more sensible health distribution.
      • The self-sacrifice ability of Infection Ad Infinitums has been adjusted to not be prone to one-shots.
      • Pearl Overwatches no longer buff nearby enemies.
    • The Parasite:
      • The Parasite's health has been reduced.
      • The Parasite's damage has been reduced when it isn't latched onto a player.
      • It is now easier to jump over a projectile from the Parasite. The swipe projectiles will now only be fired horizontally when the target is barely above ground. The dark bolts that are unleashed from a festering player now bounce lower to the ground.
      • When the Parasite is preparing to overtake a player, an indicator is now present showing the trajectory of it. The windup also takes longer.
      • The symbols for click combos in the Parasite's fight are now L and R.
      • There is now limited ping compensation for the click combo inputs for overtaken players.
      • Resisting the Parasite's attempt to cast a spell now grants 10% progress towards unlatching it.
      • The overtaken bossbar is now visible to all players and shows progress in unlatching the Parasite.
      • The Parasite's self-inflicted dark bolts can now only hit the infected player.
  • The Canyon Colossus received the following changes:
    • The duration of the activated Binding Seal title notification is now shorter and is displayed for less time from 5 seconds to 1 second.
    • The Canyon Colossus (Boss)
      • A 10 second minimum cooldown was added between Sword Slam attacks.
      • A warning title for volcano eruptions was added in the Guild Raid.
  • The Nameless's Blinding Eye attack in the Guild Raid is now faster and more powerful.
  • Equilibrium now gives 1 boon for every 2 curses.
  • Resistance curses were nerfed from +12% to +10%.
  • Walk Speed curses were nerfed from +35% to +20%. There can also only be 10 Walk Speed curses active.
  • A Max Mana boon was added.

  • World Events in the Content Book now have unique icons for if they are completed and active.

  • World Events now use a different ordering system.
  • The
    Prelude to Annihilation now has equal drops for completion at any level.
  • A new legendary bracelet was added to the
    Shapes in the Dark world event. (Death Grasp)
  • A new legendary dagger was added to the
    Aeon Origin world event. (Uncanny Mirage)
  • 4 new items were added to the Infested Pit's dungeon merchant. (Ivy Whip, Silk Slasher, Match, Pyrexia)
  • 1 new item was added to the Sand-Swept Tomb's dungeon merchant. (Dune Kiln)
  • The color meanings of each ability were changed, and a new color was added. White, red, and green nodes are unchanged. The changes are as follows:
    • Yellow: Now used for 1 AP nodes with a unique function.
    • Purple: Now used for 2 AP nodes with a more optional function to an archetype.
    • Blue: A new color used for 2 AP nodes that are major parts of an archetype's identity.
  • Some icon cleanup was done for ability descriptions.
  • Archer's ability tree received the following changes:
    • A new minor Sharpshooter ability was added: Phantom Force. It increases Phantom Ray's range by +8 blocks and increases its width by +50%.
    • Decimator now also increases Phantom Ray's range by +8 blocks.
  • Assassin's ability tree received the following changes:
    • The clone symbol was updated.
    • Sticky Bomb's attach range was increased.
    • Hoodwink now works with Lacerate.
  • Mage's Sunflare now casts a base Heal when it is activated.
  • Shaman's ability tree received the following changes:
    • A new Summoner ability was added: Commander. Casting shift & Uproot will rally all puppets in an offensive formation around the player, granting them increased speed and accuracy, and increases Main Attack Damage for each rallied puppet. The ability's duration is charged up by attacking mobs while it is inactive.
    • A new major Summoner ability was added that replaces Shepherd: Hollow Hummingbirds. Casting shift & Haul will summon several small wooden hummingbirds that rotate around the player and grant them increased Jump Height and Walk Speed. Casting shift & Haul again makes the hummingbirds go on the offensive where they detect and pierce through enemies in range, but without any mobility buffs.
    • Vertical and horizontal knockback was added to Nature's Jolt.
    • Haul now targets the Totem that is looked at or the most recent Totem if there are none in sight.
    • The angle checks for Totem Shove and the new Haul mechanic were improved so they work consistently and at a longer range.
    • Buffed Puppet Master to increase puppet movement speed from +0.45 to +0.6 and reduced puppet spread from 1 to 0.5.
    • Crimson Effigies now deal -20% damage for each additional effigy summoned past 1.
    • Crimson Effigy's Summoner archetype requirement was reduced from 8 to 6.
    • Maddening Roots and Friendly Fire are now optional nodes.
    • Invigorating Wave's mana per hit was reduced from +5 to +3.
    • Totemic Shatter now grants 8s of Puppet Master spawns and Sacrificial Shrine blood drain.
  • A new identification was added: Main Attack Range %
  • Added a new level 100-104 rare ring to the general loot pool. (Ad Terram)
  • The following items were rebalanced: Stingy, Hourglass, Mud, Vitre, Butterfly, Gold Digger, Garoth's Hope, Thriller, Damnation, Sanies, Hymn of the Dead, Boundary, Death's Reach, Styx's Grab, Cathedral, Putrid, Clunderthap, Jaw Breaker, Sol, Sprout, Hashr Claw, Hearthfire, Vapor, Iron Foot, Brainfreeze, Shade, Fetish, Barbed, Molten Greaves, Granite Plate, Whirlwind, Lobotomy, Azotar, Jungle Spirit, Ouragan, Rumble, Algaa, Grounder, Byte, Wick, Sawtooth, Earth Sanctuary, Thunder Sanctuary, Water Sanctuary, Fire Sanctuary, Air Sanctuary, Rainbow Sanctuary, Unsheated Glaive, Charging Flame, Jiandan Handwraps, Chestplate of Ineptitude, and Panic Zealot.

This hotfix balanced some parts of Blizzard Brawl.

  • The rating system now punishes players who lose less harshly.
  • Capture points now capture at a slower rate in enemy bases.
  • Capture points no longer require to be uncontested to have a team progress.
  • The capture rate multiplier after a point remains unclaimed for 90 seconds increases at a slower rate from +100%/45s to +100%/60s.
  • Shards of the Mountain are now tradable.
  • The reward rates of Shards of the Mountain have been increased by 1.5 times.
  • Gawrick's ultimate windup has increased from 3s to 3.5s.
  • The overheal from Haily's food has been decreased from +45 to +35.
  • Haily's main attack healing has been decreased from +3 to +2 per candy cane.
  • Haily's shift ability now sets the enemy's velocity to at most 3 on the x and z axes.
  • Irlok's right-click ability now requires at least 4 Harmony to stun an opponent.
  • Irlok's ground slam minimum radius was increased from 1.3 blocks to 2 blocks.
  • Irlok's ground slam maximum radius was increased from 5.3 blocks to 8 blocks.
  • Tom's ultimate ability's damage was nerfed from 70 to 60.
  • Theorick's shift ability's cooldown increased from 11s to 15s.
  • Theorick's Hypothermic Barrier now always spawns on the ground.
  • The passive ultimate ability charge rate was reduced from 1% per second to 0.75% per second.
  • The ultimate ability charge rate from damage and healing was reduced from 1% to 0.8%.

Hotfix #4 (12/16 Patch)

  • Traveling at Dusk (the music of the Barren Desert scenery in the Character Menu) was updated to use the new music system.
  • Failsafes were added to The Mercenary, WynnExcavation Site C, and Corrupted Galleon's Graveyard.
  • A timer was added to the parkour in Realm of Light IV - Finding the Light.
  • Removed the parkour from the Secret Discovery A Hero's Origin.
  • Elkurn's respawn point was moved to a more appropriate location.
  • The Hoarder's appearance has been updated.
  • Some NPCs now have their respective weapon cosmetics.
  • Terrified Pigs near Lake Gylia now have a chance to drop 1
    Pig Meat.
  • A fourth Gambit slot was added, unlocked by becoming a Raiding Syndicate Master. The maximum amount of Gambits that can be active at once is still three.
  • Added the Burdened Pacifist's and Arcane Incontinent's Gambits:
    • Arcane Incontinent: Spend 5 mana for each main attack you use.
    • Burdened Pacifist: For every mob killed, reduce your buff durations by 10% or 4 seconds, whichever is greater.
  • Raid Syndicate level rewards were changed:
    • Second Gambit Slot from Sentinel III to Sentinel I.
    • Fifth Aspect Slot from Admiral to Sentinel III.
    • Third Gambit Slot from Master to Admiral.
  • The Grootslang Wyrmling's shockwaves now have models.
  • The Tower Room in Orphion's Nexus of Light was properly lit up.
  • The Canyon Colossus's Reward Room portal was updated.
  • The Chronokinesis Mission was reworked. Instead of chests giving +1 Pull at the cost of an increasing -5s permanently, chests still give +1 Pull but now consume 10 seconds (+5 per chest) from the timer. Completing a challenge reduces the penalty by 10s.
  • Archer's Ability Tree received the following changes:
    • A new Sharpshooter ability was added: Ghostly Trigger. When using Escape, hold shift to slow your fall, allowing Twain's Arc to be used while airborne. Twain's Arc also charges 30% faster after casting Escape. This ability costs 2 AP.
    • Arrow Storm's recoil now only applies when airborne.
    • Elusive's cost was reduced from 2 AP to 1 AP.
    • Twain's Arc now charges faster or slower, depending on the weapon's attack speed.
    • Phasing Beam no longer increases Twain's Arc charge speed, but the damage penalty on pierce is reduced from -110% to -80%.
  • Warrior's Ability Tree received the following changes:
    • Bash's first hit was sped up so it almost instantaneously deals damage on cast.
    • The distance between Bash hits was reduced from 3 blocks to 2 blocks.
    • The Broken Armor status effect will no longer visually remove enemy armor.
    • Provoke received the following changes:
      • Now a Paladin ability on page 6.
      • Paladin Archetype Requirement increased from 0 to 5.
      • Cooldown increased from 5s to 8s.
  • Chaos Explosion no longer recasts Teleport.
  • Shaman's Ability Tree received the following changes:
    • Three new Acolyte abilities were added: Lashing Lance, Sanguine Strike, and Deeper Wounds:
      • Lashing Lance: Flaming Tongue gains +1 hit, and now inflicts enemies with a new status effect: Bleeding, dealing damage to enemies every 0.5s. Each hit of Flaming Tongue now applies +1.5s of Bleeding, to a maximum of 6s. Haunting Memory instead applies +3s of Bleeding. This ability costs 2 AP.
      • Sanguine Strike: Your Main Attack spread is slightly reduced, and each beam now inflicts enemies with +0.25s of Bleeding. This ability costs 1 AP.
      • Deeper Wounds: Increases the damage from Bleeding. This ability costs 1 AP.
    • Twisted Tether was reworked. Tethered is no longer applied from your Main Attack, but instead to all Bleeding enemies within range of the player.
    • Blood Sorrow now applies +9s of Bleeding to enemies per hit.
    • Larger Blood Pool 2 & 3 were renamed to Bloodier I and II. They both now increase maximum Bleeding duration by +1.5s.
    • Maddening Roots now works with Flaming Tongue.
    • Commander's trigger is now Shift + Aura instead of Shift + Uproot.
    • Puppets now automatically leave Commander's formation to explode on their target.
    • Hummingbird's Song received the following changes:
      • The range for when Hummingbird Carvings return to the player has been greatly increased.
      • Hummingbird Carvings now obey Bullwhip and retarget onto the last Whipped enemy.
      • Hummingbird Carvings now glow in attack mode. When a target dies or is lost, they fly back to the player while still in attack mode, remaining as such until the timer expires or they are manually disabled. While the carvings are still in attack mode, they now automatically find and attack a target once they are close enough.
  • Added a new Major ID: Punishment: Reflected damage blinds enemies for 1s and makes them 10% more vulnerable to attacks for 3s.
  • A new item was added to the reward chest for
    Geodesic.
  • Heart of the Pack was rebalanced and renamed to Altruism. Altruism is now compatible with Healing Efficiency.
    • Altruism's effect radius was increased from 8 blocks to 12 blocks.
    • Altruism's healing multiplier was increased from 75% to 100%.
  • Gruesome Knots was reworked so that Bleeding and Twisted Tether deal double damage, but Bleeding duration is reduced.
  • Evershot's damage per arrow was increased from 30% to 45%.
  • Entropy no longer applies a speed bonus to Ophanim.
  • Voidstone Lensing was renamed to Voidstone Lersing.
  • The following items were rebalanced: Nullification, Archangel, Outrage, Riverflow

Hotfix #4.1

This mini-hotfix makes changes related to Blizzard Brawl.

  • Fixed several bugs related to Blizzard Brawl.
  • Nerfed Theorick's health from 130 to 120 and his left-click ability damage from 8 to 6.

Hotfix #4.2

This mini-hotfix makes changes related to Blizzard Brawl.

  • Rickeo's overall damage from his left-click ability was reduced from 6 on hit and 5 burn damage to 7; 3.
  • Rickeo's overall damage from his right-click ability was reduced from 7 on hit and 6 burn damage to 9; 3.
  • Tom can no longer use his main attack immediately after his ultimate ability. He instead must wait 300 milliseconds in between the aforementioned attacks.
  • Tom's main attack damage was nerfed from 15 to 14.
  • The Blizzard Blaster trinket can now be used up to 2 times mid-air before having to land to reset its charges.

Hotfix #4.3

  • Overhauled the Wynncraft server system. Worlds are no longer labelled as WC##, but are instead now either NA## (North American) or EU## (European) depending on the server location.
    • A small amount of EU servers were implemented as a small-scale test.
    • The Party Finder now places players in a server based on the majority of where players are connected. Even splits of location have a randomized server.
    • Guild Wars are now most likely to put players in NA servers.
    • /switch was changed so players can now join different servers in different locations.
      • Single numbers can still be an accepted input. The game now autofills the location prefix with the player's recommended region.
    • In the lobby, players can now select which region is preferred.

  • The Party Finder was adjusted to now have dedicated queues for North America and Europe.
    • The server region the player joins for the queue depends on what world they are on (for example, a player on NA27 would join the NA queue for The Nameless Anomaly).
    • If enough time has gone on without creating a party for a region, the Party Finder expands the queue to include other regions.
  • Fixed several bugs related to the Outer Void.
  • Item spawning in the Outer Void now has less overall items but with higher respawn rates.
  • The undiscovered item description in the Workbench UI is now more accurate to unlocking behavior.
  • Frying Pans now have a 5s cooldown for making its sound.
  • Archaic Writing is no longer a Mythic Void Drop.
  • Updated the Hobby Horse's sprite.

    • The Corrupter of Worlds, Mechorrupter of Worlds, and the first phase of Fully Formed Amadel now use basic Melee AI instead of Ambush AI.
    • The Cave
      Frog Hole was renamed to Toads in a Hole.
    • Made various balance changes to

    • The appearance of foliage in the Roots of Corruption's Guild Arena was changed to match the current appearance in-game.
    • Made several changes to the Bane of the Great Bridge:
      • An info message and XP reward was added for killing the Bane for the first time.

      • A Burning Memory now only becomes available once 5 minutes have passed or if the player has relogged after defeating the Bane to avoid instant refights after killing him for the first time.
      • If a player starts an encounter with the Bane, all players on the center of the bridge are now also pulled into the fight, regardless if the Bane was defeated previously by them.
      • Players can now skip the cutscene with the Bane if it was already viewed on a previous character.
      • The sooty corpse interaction beneath the Great Bridge was removed.
    • Added +2 Aspect Pulls to the daily bonus rewards from Raids.
    • Made the following changes to
      Orphion's Nexus of Light:
      • Shortened the raid intro cutscene.
      • Orphion now receives 75% resistance after going below 50% health. It lasts until he uses Solar Shower.
      • Orphion's Ram attack now has a longer wind-up.
    • The Fabled Armor exclusive to the
      Canyon Colossus has raised drop chances.
    • Made the following changes to the

      • Lacerate can now be combined with Hop to allow for superjumps

    • A player's Walk Speed in the pre-boss room in the

        • Dark beam indicators are used to indicate where mobs will spawn.

If the timer expires after the isoptera is killed, the Isoptera Heart will still be present in the player's inventory.
      • A chat warning was added to the Guild Raid's version of the Watched to give clearer instructions.

    • Trapdoors in the
      Swashbuckling Brawl world event are now less annoying.
