Purple Crystal Shard is a quest item found during the quest WynnExcavation Site B. It is needed to complete the quest.
Obtain
- It is obtained by picking up one of the many Purple Crystal Shards in the cave with the giant crystal. At this point, it is an Untradeable Item.
Usage
- At the end of the quest, it is given to Excavator Lykron, who then gives back the Purple Crystal Shard as a Quest Item. It is necessary to start the WynnExcavation Site C quest. If the player does not have it in their inventory, Excavator Placardus will not reply when they talk to him.
