The Cockatrice is a mob encountered during the Canyon Condor quest. It is a level 38 mob with the flame-thrower spell. When defeated, the Cockatrice will drop a Beast Egg, which should be returned to Svin.

The Cockatrice spawns on a plateau in the Mesa, inside its huge nest. The plateau can be accessed through the Hermit's cave, and then across two bridges. Look for a sign by the second bridge.
Note
- The back of the nest is almost directly above Svin, so once you have collected the egg, you can take a shortcut by jumping from the plateau straight into the water next to Svin's boat.
Trivia
- Based on what the Hermit says at the end of the Stage 5 of Canyon Condor, the "one traveler" that he is talking about might be Bob and the egg that he took from the Cockatrice might have become Cluckles, one of Bob's three pets.
