Forve is the start NPC for the Defending the Gate and Temperature Control mission. The NPC will ask you to help in maintaining the mechanisms for the gate for the Defending the Gate mission. In the Temperature Control mission, the NPC will ask you to help in fixing the Temperature Controler.

Both missions Forve is located in Avalanche near the item identifier but the second mission is after the Avalanche happens.

Dialogue

Defending the Gate

When you start the mission

• [1/4] Forve: I really need help... I work on maintaining the mechanisms in Lusuco.
• [2/4] Forve: But I'm having trouble closing the gate on my own as it hasn't been used in ages!
• [3/4] Forve: I need another person, can you help me please?
• [4/4] Forve: Great! Follow me, let's go there.

During the mission

After following Forve, Forve will explain what you need to do:

• [1/3] Forve: When I trigger the levers up there multiple lights will light up down here. You must press the buttons.
• [2/3] Forve: That will trigger the engines to close the gate. You must be quick, though. The system is really old and will stop working if you take too long.
• [3/3] Forve: Are you ready? Let's go!

When you finish the first round:

• [1/1] Forve: That was great! Only two more to go!

When you finish the second round:

• [1/1] Forve: Only one more lever now!

When you finish the third round:

• [1/2] Forve: This is great! We should have extra protection with this gate.
• [2/2] Forve: Thank you for help!

After finishing the mission

• [1/1] Forve: Thank you for helping Lusuco!

Temperature Control

When you start the mission

• [1/4] Forve: Glad to see you again! Thank you for sticking around to help us.
• [2/4] Forve: Anyway, I have another mechanical issue now... Lusuco has a heat generator.
• [3/4] Forve: It's used to help us with the extremely low temperatures, but it seems to have broken with the avalanche.
• [4/4] Forve: Talk to me again if you can help me repair it.

During the mission

When you talk to the NPC again you will be teleported outside the gate, follow the NPC to the site:

• [1/5] Forve: Come on! Let's go!
• [2/5] Forve: So the storm dislocated multiple pieces of the machine.
• [3/5] Forve: That caused a huge leakage making the water keeping the Heat Generator from exploding go all over the place.
• [4/5] Forve: I need you to go inside the water and get the pieces that were dislocated back.
• [5/5] Forve: Here we are. Can you do that?... Great!

When all 3 pieces are retrieved:

• [1/5] Forve: Great job! Come back here.
• [2/5] Forve: Now we must place those items in here.
• [3/5] Forve: Careful, though as you may only place one item at a time when this area is lit up.
• [4/5] Forve: That way we can avoid the machine from Over-heating and exploding.
• [5/5] Forve: Are you ready? Great! Good luck.

Note: If you fail, the next try will be four dialogues without the first one.

When you put all the pieces:

• [1/2] Forve: You did it! Can you feel the heat coming already?
• [2/2] Forve: Great job, soldier. Now go back to Lusuco and help other people.
