Wynntron is an unbeatable AI found in the abandoned laboratory during the ??? quest. It contains a very difficult puzzle that is required to progress through the quest.
Puzzle
The puzzle is located below Wynntron's display and is activated by pressing the reset button in the center of the game area. The play area consists of a 20 block long track with 2 red Wynntron cubes and 2 blue player cubes. On the player's turn, there will be buttons on the available blocks and clicking one will move the cube to that position. The goal of the game is to get all cubes to the left side of the board.
Behavior
Each game is set up in a way that makes it easier for Wynntron to beat the player. Wynntron separates the cubes into 2 pairs of red and blue. The two leftmost cubes are considered a pair, while the two rightmost cubes are considered a pair. For each turn, Wynntron will calculate the distance of both pairs and make a move accordingly. Its goal is to keep the distances equal while keeping them at a minimum.
The algorithm is as follows:
- Calculate the distance of each pair, denoted by d1 and d2.
- For the pair with the greatest distance, move its cube d1-d2 towards the opponents cube, where d1 is the greater distance. This is effectively changing the greater distance to equal the lesser distance.
The player can win against Wynntron 100% of the time by using the same strategy.

Trivia
- As of Tommyinnit's "What it's Like To Run A $1000 Minecraft Server...", Jumla and Salted have not beat Wynntron once, while he and Tubbo_ randomly won first try.
- Wynntron being Version: 9001.14 could be a reference to the Internet meme, Over 9000, which was also referenced in a battle with Yahya - The Final Form, and the .14 could be a reference to the version, 1.14, the version which introduced the Gavel Province to the game.
