Insane Thief is a thief in the Llevigar Plains who tries to steal a meteor shard when the meteor falls during the quest Star Thief. The player, tasked with locating the meteor, tracks down the thief when they try to escape with the meteor shard. Due to the meteor's mind-warping effects, the thief goes insane while holding the shard, and attacks the player at the end of the quest, but is killed himself.
