Got into Korun's basement without starting Purple and Blue:

• Korun: Get outta there…! How’d you even get in!?

Post-Quest

Saved Nikoler:

• Korun: I don't know what I would've done without your help, human.
• Korun: I could never bring myself to go on with my research if I didn't have my rival.

Sacrificed Nikoler and took the Meteor Shard:

• Korun: This meteor shard… I guess it’s a medal of honor for my victory over Nikoler.
• Korun: I just can’t shake the feeling that it’s all meaningless though…

    • ENTRY #101: I can’t see any light coming from Nikoler’s lab tonight. He must be so tired! I have the superior sleep schedule!! I will be the first to figure out the secrets of the lake!
    • ENTRY #106: Today, I’ve made one tidbit of progress. There’s interesting energy emanating from the top of the spikes around the lake. Though, I still haven’t heard from Nikoler or seen anything. He’s certainly been very quiet. Maybe I’m too used to him shouting about how bad I am at 2 in the morning?
    • ENTRY #110: What exactly is happening? I went to Nikoler’s lab today, to finally be greeted to what he’s been up to. But I’ve been greeted by a few cobwebs and nothing else!!
    • ENTRY #111: Get it together Korun, it’ll be fine… It would even be good to lose a rival, right? Right?
    • ENTRY #115: I haven’t been motivated to work at all recently. What’s the point if there’s no pressure? No competition?
