The Maex Refinery Machine, also known as the Maex Refinery Merchant or simply as Maex Refiner, is a Dwarven machine that can be found in Maex, created by the Dwarves. You must pay a one-time fee of 16 Emerald Blocks to Lerfis in order to use the machine. It is used to refine Unrefined Smouldering Wood and Unrefined Smouldering Chunk, which can be harvested, starting at level 85
Woodcutting, from Flerisi Trees and Flerisi Trunks respectively. Both Wood and Chunk refine into a variety of high-level Crafting Ingredients.
