Gathering Axe at level 85
Woodcutting to receive Unrefined Smouldering Wood from Flerisi Trees and Unrefined Smoldering Chunk from Flerisi Trunks. Harvesting either node will grant the player a small amount of Woodcutting XP and one of their respective Unrefined Smouldering Wood/Chunk, with a guaranteed success rate. The resources can then be refined at the Maex Refinery Machine into a variety of high-level Crafting Ingredients.

Gathering Flerisi Tree

Flerisi Trees are dark trees with red and orange flames that can be found throughout both the Lower Molten Heights and the Upper Molten Heights. Unrefined Smouldering Wood can be harvested from Flerisi Trees with a 100% success rate and a cooldown of 120 seconds.

Gathering Flerisi Trunk

Flerisi Trunks are larger dark trees with blue trunks as well as blue flames. They are only found in the Lower Molten Heights. Unrefined Smouldering Chunk can be harvested from Flerisi Trunks with a 100% success rate and a cooldown of 90 seconds.

Refining Unrefined Smouldering Wood and Chunk

Unrefined Smouldering Wood and Unrefined Smouldering Chunk are refined into Ingredients by the Maex Refinery Machine, a Dwarven machine located in Maex. For more information about possible products, see here.
