Monument to Siegfried

This monument stands as a testament to the fame, glory, and heroic deeds of Gavel's hero, Siegfried, and his place in the heart of the Gavellians. A golden plaque explains his journey from Corkus to Gavel where his first deed was defeating an orc army approaching Llevigar. To the left side stands a "Thank-You Box", where visitors are asked to donate an emerald to thank Siegfried for protecting the province.

Donation Box

Every time you donate an Emerald to Siegfried, the Box will thank you for your donation. There are milestones in donations which can give you useless trophy items.

  • "Awarded in recognition of giving 64 Emeralds to thank Siegfried at the Cinfras Siegfried Monument."
  • Dialogue:
    • Box: In recognition of your 64 emerald donation, we give you a Siegfried ribbon!
• 640 Emeralds - Siegfried-Head Cookie
  • "This chocolate-filled cookie in the shape of Siegfried's head is awarded to those who give 640 Emeralds at the Cinfras Siegfried Monument."
• 1024 Emeralds - Siegfried Donation Certificate
  • "This certifies that the holder of this certificate has gone above and beyond for providing an extremely generous donation of 1024 Emeralds to thank Siegfried, Hero of Gavel at the Cinfras Siegfried Monument."
• 4096 Emeralds - Golden Siegfried-Branded Badge
  • "This badge, made of pure 24-karat gold and molded in the shape of Siegfried's head, is awarded only to those who willingly chose to donate 4096 of their own Emeralds, to thank Siegfried, Hero and Glorious Protector of all Gavel, at the Cinfras Siegfried Monument."

There is a special milestone of 9999 Emeralds, which makes the following dialogue play, as well as getting the final milestone reward.

• Box: WARNING, EMERALD CAPACITY SURPASSED, INTERNAL COMBUSTION DETECTED. STATUS: NONFUNCTIONAL.
• There's a notice taped on: 'This donation box has been broken from an emerald overflow, we apologize for the inconvenience.'

• 9999 Emeralds - Handwritten Official Note
  • "Dear fan,
    We are very grateful for your immense and visible support of Siegfried, Hero of Gavel. However, due to your recent breaking of our donation box through emerald overflow, we kindly ask you to stop.
    Sincerely,
    Yksi, Siegfried Foundation Director"

Plaque

There is a golden plaque to the right of the Donation Box, which describes the story of Siegfried. Right clicking on it will activate the following dialogue:

• It's a solid gold plaque, with an inscription.
• SIEGFRIED: The Hero of Gavel.
• Few have not heard of the heroic deeds of Siegfried, our province's hero.
• Immediately after arriving from Corkus, Siegfried began his legacy protecting Gavellians through his courageous defeat of an orc army approaching Llevigar.
• Since then, he has been known to always show up in the province's time of need, and has justly earned his legacy as the most beloved citizen in Gavel!
• This monument is dedicated to him, and we humbly ask visitors to drop an emerald into the thank-you box on their left.
• There seems to be a small keyhole at the bottom of the plaque...

Siegfried's Grave

Siegfried's Grave is a hidden extension of the monument, accessible by completing The Hero of Gavel quest with saving "Siegfried" to obtain Siegfried Agent's Key. By right-clicking the golden plaque on the monument with the key, a passage opens to the right where the player is taken to the grave.

There are 3 graves present in the area. To the front is a grave with a sign that reads "Siegfried" with an armored statue holding a spear. To the right is a grave that reads "Siegfried II" with a golden armored statue with the spear dropped to the side. To the left is a grave with no sign or spear, with the armored statue's helmet having been dropped on the floor. Entry gives the player the message, "Siegfried's Grave, The Heroes of Gavel", potentially meaning Siegfried was once a real hero, but has been replaced multiple times once he died, without the public knowing of the death of him or his replacements.

In the center is a collection of dead bodies that look like Siegfried, where in The Hero of Gavel quest, the player learns actors have been used to make the Gavellians believe Siegfried is still alive, and this is where they are disposed of.
