Private Cob is a minor character in the level 14 Storyline Quest Arachnids' Ascent. In the quest, he gives the player, Aledar, and Tasim a crate full of items to bring to Captain Enduyn.

- Private Cob: Oi Soldier! Say, I could use some assistance, but ya ain't high-ranked enough. Report back when you're level 14! Bye!
After completing Arachnids' Ascent:
- Private Cob: 'ey there soldier! Thanks for ya help with the arachnids! Plenty appreciated!
- Private Cob: Oh how I wish I could work wit' General Graken... Oh well!
