Type Legendary
Obtain Completing Raids
Usage Improving Identifications

Corkian Amplifiers are a Legendary Corkian Augment introduced in the 1.20 Gavel Reborn update which can be used while Identifying or re-rolling items to improve the rolled Identifications.

Corkian Amplifiers are primarily obtained as a reward from Raids; four Tier I Amplifiers are also given as a reward for completing The Feathers Fly Part II quest. Unlike other Raid rewards, Corkian Amplifiers are not Soulbound and have no minimum combat level, so they can be bought and sold on the Trade Market and used at any level by any class.

Name Effect
Corkian Amplifier I Use this while identifying or re-rolling an item to increase its positive ID rolls by 5%
Corkian Amplifier II Use this while identifying or re-rolling an item to increase its positive ID rolls by 10%
Corkian Amplifier III Use this while identifying or re-rolling an item to increase its positive ID rolls by 15%

Usage

Corkian Amplifiers can be used when identifying by right-clicking instead of left-clicking the confirm button when identifying items. If you have one amplifier but are identifying or rerolling multiple items, then the amplifier will be applied to the first item in the identifier. Multiple amplifiers can be used on multiple items at the same time by putting the amplifiers into separate item stacks, then identifying all the items.

Amplifiers do not guarantee that identification rolls will be strictly better than their previous values when used on rerolling an item; amplifiers only boost the ID rolls of the item after its new stats have been rolled.

The effect of the amplifier decreases the higher the roll of the ID is. If a Corkian Amplifier III is used on an item, and the new roll is at its lowest, 30% of the base value, then the amplifier will increase that roll by its full amount, 15%, making the amplified roll 45%. On the other hand, if the item is rolled and the new roll is already at its maximum, 130% of the base value, then the amplifier will have no effect, increasing the ID by 0%.
