Gelibord is a town plagued by the undead. After a vicious zombie attack, Burtur asks the player to investigate rumors of the Lazarus Pit, a lake with reviving properties, as he suspects that's how so many undead are managing to surface.
Stage 1
» Speak to Burtur at [-1025, 47, -5302]
Location |
Gelibord -1025, 47, -5302 |
Wynncraft Map |
Dialogue:
- Burtur: Ah, one of you adventurin' types, huh? We see a lot of you around here... Going in and out as you please. Must be a nice life.
- Burtur: Though, if you could spare some time, the town could use you-
- Burtur: Wait, already?! It's only been a day since last! How insatiable are they...?
- Gelibord Guard: THE UNDEAD HAVE OVERWHELMED THE GOLEMS! EVERY CITIZEN FOR THEMSELVES!!
- Burtur: This is what I was talking about! We need your help with this! You Wynn folk are good at killing zombies, right?!
- Burtur: We need help with this! Defend the town with us!
Note: Once Burtur finishes speaking, the player will be teleported to a zombie-infested Gelibord. They must survive for 30 seconds before being automatically teleported back.
- Gelibord Guard: The horde's retreating, but we have one citizen dead! Regroup at the square and prepare the pyres!
- Burtur: Hey! Over here, you alright?

Dialogue:
- Burtur: Phew. That was a smaller horde, thankfully... Still, good thing you were there. That could have been worse.
- Burtur: still, c'mon now... We have to burn the bodies. Can't leave the job half-done.
- Burtur: It's a bit sacrilegious, but necessary to do right now- otherwise they just keep coming back, like they do across the ridge in Kander.
- Burtur: The ones around here all come up from the river, though, and since it runs right through the town, well... You can see the problem.
- Burtur: Since we don't live in a reeking, pockmarked plain, we have to burn the bodies so any dead don't turn right around against us.
- Gelibord Guard: Say your goodbyes, all. Irahe will be missed. Step away from the pyre!
- Burtur: Some conspiracy theorists think that the Lazarus Pit is the issue. It's an urban legend, a well of water that can revive the dead.
- Burtur: Supposing that it's real, it would make some sense, at least- If it started feeding into the river or water tables, then we'd get the current goings-on.
- Burtur: Of course, no one knows where it is, since it's just rumors, but there's supposedly an "Order" of pit-keepers. Conveniently long dead, and buried in that small graveyard just north of here.
- Burtur: It's... probably just Referick having made the rounds to any drunk who would listen a while back, but it's also our only shot. If you could give it a search, and a yay or nay?

- Lord Plaatic the Kind: What, you want to enter the crypt? Well, prove you're better than the funeral directors and do something right! The Ghastly Ghouls around here won't stop SCREAMING!
- Lord Plaatic the Kind: I want them gone! Get rid of, say, 10 Ghastly Ghouls. Then perhaps I'll give you the time of day, you strange, small-nosed lockyloo!
» Kill 10 Ghastly Ghouls
- That's most of the ghouls killed, you should head back to Lord Plaatic.
- Lord Plaatic the Kind: Ah, my favorite little weird-small-nosed-person! The graveyard is so lovely when it's quiet- you really did a good job!
- Lord Plaatic the Kind: As important as I am, you must still check with the other graves, though you certainly have my blessing to enter.

Lazarus Water to revive Sir Pigglesworth the Thirty-Fifth.
File:SirPigglesworththeThirty-Fifth.png

- Sir Pigglesworth the Thirty-Fifth: You want to get into the crypt? I suppose I could give you a hand... figuratively, I mean. Still, need to see if you could be trusted and all...
- Sir Pigglesworth the Thirty-Fifth: Oh, right! My dear husband gave me the most beautiful wedding band, but it became lost when I carked it. Some rude shadowy thing- See if anyone ever marries THEM!
- Sir Pigglesworth the Thirty-Fifth: Bring it back, could you? I died around that old lich's tower to the east. Do that, and I'll be happy to give you my blessing!
» Find Sir Pigglesworth's wedding ring Go to the Lich's Tower at [-1069, 40, -5494] to pick up the Wedding Band.
- Sir Pigglesworth the Thirty-Fifth: Oh, you found it! Wonderful! Just pop it on that fingerbone right there... Ah, it fits even better on the other hand!
- Sir Pigglesworth the Thirty-Fifth: The crypt, you say? I can offer my blessing to enter, but you'll need to check with the other tombs as well. Farewell!
Green-Flag Grave

File:UggwordPollywaggontheMurderous.png

Yellow-Flag Grave
Go to the grave at [-1160, 44, -5511] with the
Lazarus Water to revive Poclo Wabblebuff of Gelibord. She will ask you to feed her cat.
File:PocloWabblebuffofGelibord.png
- Poclo Wabblebuff of Gelibord: Greetings! Thank goodness, that dreary old tomb was simply awful. No furniture, no natural light, not even a lick of paint! So drab, the whole thing.
- Poclo Wabblebuff of Gelibord: What's that? You want to get into the crypt? Well, of course I can help, if you just do one teensy little thing for me?
- Poclo Wabblebuff of Gelibord: Could you feed my cat for me? I know Mrs. Fluffles must be so lonely after all these years. My old house is just south of here, over at [-1105, 42, -5381], just pop some food down for her? Thank you!
» Feed Poclo's cat
Poclo's house can be found by Hans, and go to her basement to find Mrs. Fluffles.
- Looks like this was the house Poclo was talking about... you should check inside.
- Mrs. Fluffles doesn't look to be in the best of shape... Poclo should probably hear about this.
» Talk to Poclo
- Poclo Wabblebuff of Gelibord: So, is Mrs. Fluffles doing alright without me? Oh, I bet she was so affectionate, always such a softie!
- Should you tell Poclo that Mrs. Fluffles is dead?
- [1] [Yes]
- Poclo Wabblebuff of Gelibord: W-wait, Mrs. Fluffles... She was...d-dead? No... It can't be! I left her a lifetime supply of food!
- Poclo Wabblebuff of Gelibord: You! You killed Mrs. Fluffles, it's the only explanation!! HOW COULD YOU DO SUCH A THING?!
- [2] [No]
- Poclo Wabblebuff of Gelibord: Oh, thank you so much! I was so worried that after my death she wouldn't be okay... What a relief!
- Poclo Wabblebuff of Gelibord: You have my blessing to enter the crypt! Make sure to check with the other graves as well though.
- [1] [Yes]
Telling Poclo the truth will result in her becoming a boss after thinking you killed Mrs. Fluffles, and after defeating Poclo, you will have completed the task. If you want to avoid a fight, tell Poclo that Mrs. Fluffles is fine.

Trivia
- The title of the quest and location is a reference to Lazarus, a figure in the Christian bible who was resurrected four days after his death.
- Wynn has its own location similar to the Lazarus Pit, in the form of the Fountain of Youth.
- In stage 2 Burtur refers to Referick, which is the starting NPC for A Headless History.
- Irahe was an NPC who lived by Referick in the now replaced quest, The Headless Hunt.
- Going back to the Old Book NPC has the following dialogue:
- It's the book that had the location of the Lazarus Pit written in it. There's some other intact pages you didn't check before.
- Old Book: ...loss, but those pure of heart found... untouched by the curse, and formed this Order.
- Old Book: For worry of the misuse... waters, malicious or not, our... shall be taken to the grave.
- Old Book: Only one apart from our... of it, and they have... secrecy, even... immmortality.
- Old Book: The lich, Espera... keeper of the Order. We ...an outside influence will not...
- The rest is unreadable.
- Since Sir Pigglesworth has the title of 'Sir', and how he mentioned that he had a husband, Sir Pigglesworth is likely gay.
