The Major's Badge is a Tier 3 Crafting Ingredient and Meta-Ingredient.
Obtaining
The Major's Badge can be obtained by defeating the Major mob located in the Kitrios Barracks, and can also be found in loot chests.
Usage
Major's Badge can be sold at a Blacksmith or from your Ingredient Pouch in exchange for Emeralds. It can also be traded to other players via the Trade Market or personal trading.

Major's Badge can be used for crafting in the Armouring, Tailoring, Weaponsmithing, Woodworking, Jeweling and Alchemism professions. When used as a crafting ingredient, Major's Badge reduces the effectiveness of all other items not touching it by varying amounts. Ingredients that are touching the badge gain +35% effectiveness to their own effects. It is the most complex meta-ingredient in the game, having the potential to create a wide variety of creative and thoughtful items.
