The Mask of the Spirits is a Legendary collectible helmet obtainable during the annual Festival of the Spirits, which most recently ran from 13th October through 5th November, 2023. It could be obtained as a rare reward from the weekly Drawing of the Spirits raffle hosted by The Seer in Detlas during the festival. Like other rewards from the Drawing, the Mask can be traded with other players during and after the event.

The item serves as a trophy item, as like the Legendary Medallion, it gives no stat bonuses or penalties. It only requires a combat level of 1 to wear.

Dialogue

In 2021, if the Mask was obtained through the Drawing, showing it to The Envoy in Detlas unlocked hidden dialogue:

• The Envoy: Ah... the Mask. Seems the spirits have taken a liking to you! That's quite an important item you've got there, hero. Take care not to lose it.
• The Envoy: Such masks are important to those who create them. To be given one is to be blessed by the spirits themselves.

If the Mask was obtained through the Guiding of the Spirits instead, the dialogue would be different:

• The Envoy: Ah... the Mask. This... is no ordinary mask, though. Did the Guide give you this?
• The Envoy: Such masks are important to those who create them. To be given one is to be blessed by the spirits themselves.
• The Envoy: For the Guide to give you one themselves... I suppose you must have done something quite impressive for them.

Trivia

• This item was first available in the 2021 Festival of the Spirits, and was subsequently made available again in 2023.
  • In 2021, it could be obtained from The Guide after guiding all 24 lost spirits back to Detlas as part of the Guiding of the Spirits activity, in addition to the raffle.
• In 2021, viewing the Drawing of the Spirits among the possible raffle rewards showed different lore: "An ornamental relic, designed by those Beyond. When held, perhaps more will be revealed."
