Potion Making was a quest found on the Black Road prior to the 1.14.1 Gameplay Update which reworked this quest into its current version.

The Assistant needs help to craft an illegal potion with his master.
Stage 1
» Talk to The Assistant on the Black Road.
- The Assistant: Hey you! Hopefully you aren't busy, my master and I need your help for something very special...
- The Assistant: Don't tell anybody, but... we are working on a prohibited potion, and we need some ingredients...
- The Assistant: My master and I need [8 Bat Ears], [16 Bone Meal] and [3 Potion of Healing I] to finish this potion.
- The Assistant: I'll be waiting for your return.
Stage 2
» Bring back [8 Bat Ears], [16 Bone Meal], and [Potions of Healing I] to the Assistant.
Bat Ears can be obtained from killing bat mobs in the western Wynn Plains. Bone Meal can be obtained from killing skeleton mobs in the Wynn Plains. Potions of Healing I can be obtained from killing lower-level mobs or by buying them from the Potion Merchant.
- The Assistant: Great! You got everything.
- The Assistant: Heh heh heh... thanks for your help. Here, take these emeralds as a reward.
