Sunlit Copper Coins are a reward currency obtained from the Battle for the Bonfire minigame during the Festival of the Bonfire, which most recently ran from 11th August through 3rd September, 2023. They are used to purchase exclusive rewards from the Equipment and Trinket Merchants.

Battle for the Bonfire was located in the Sunset Valley, accessible from Detlas during the festival via the Event Airship Pilot. Players on the winning team were awarded 5 Coins at the end of a match, while players on the losing team were awarded 3 Coins. Additional Coins were awarded to the players with the most kills, most deaths, most runes collected, and most points scored.

Dialogue

During the festival, showing a Sunlit Copper Coin to the Bonfire Keeper in the center of Detlas unlocked hidden dialogue:

• Bonfire Keeper: A rather strange coin you've found there, yes? The sun imprinted on one side, the moon on the other?
• Bonfire Keeper: I am familiar with this sort of currency, though... I am afraid I am bound to secrecy.
• Bonfire Keeper: But, as it were– the answers to your questions are out there, somewhere. I wish you the best on your search, friend.
