Writhers are level 73 Hostile Mobs found in the Flesh Mesh Cave in the Kander Forest.

Combat

Writhers are melee enemies that follow the player and deal damage by coming into contact with them. While they attack, they will periodically stop moving for a few seconds before returning to chasing the player.

Writhers take reduced damage from all
Fire attacks.

Upon death, a Writher will spawn five Bloated Maggots.

Writhers can drop Normal Items, Unidentified Items, Emeralds, Powders, and Potions of Healing.

Writhers are found in the Flesh Mesh, a Cave in the Kander Forest, in the viscera pits on the surface. They can also be found in the Lexdale Penitentiary Graveyard on the cliffs west of the prison.
