The Altar of Sanctification is a Boss Altar designed for players of around level 70. It is located in the northwest area of the Dernel Jungle, south of the Sodeta Manor. The boss, Revenant of Skien, is the spirit of General Skien, a dead and corrupted human general.

To access the altar, you will need to right click 1 Skiens Badge onto the Boss Altar. This can only be obtained by killing General Skien on Skiens Island, and getting to him requires you to punch in a code and traverse a maze.

Spoiler! The hidden text contains spoilers relating to finding General Skien.

To get to Skien, you must first get the code to the basement that he is in.
The first number of the code can be found by going through the door at [388, 78, -3535]. This leads to a long series of tunnels, with 2 ladders along the way at [386, 79, -3540] and [376, 84, -3544], which lead to a secret hideout in one of the towers (you can also skip this by using movement spells to reach the top of the tower). At the top, a large series of signs reveals that the people in the hideout discovered that the first digit of the code is 5, as well as that one of the others is 8.
The second number of the code can be found by going through the fake wall at [391, 72, -3513], and going through the tunnel until you reach a room with signs at [392, 74, -3544]. The signs reveal that Skien was constantly repeating the code to himself, with 2 as the second number in it and the others too faded to read.
The last number of the code can be found in the prison on the island (entrance at [405, 7, -3470]). Then, head to the iron doors at [350, 2, -3500], and press the button to enter, to find a series of signs revealing that one of the prisoners was muttering "3 is the last" before dying.
Putting all of this together, the first digit is 5, the second is 2, the fourth is 3, and by elimination the third is 8, meaning the full code is 5283.
Once you have the code, head to the basement by going through the doors and down the stairs at [371, 64, -3555]. Then, navigate the basement hallways to reach the stairs going down at [419, 46, -3579], to reach Skien's room, where you can fight him to get the badge.

Boss

The boss of Altar of Sanctification is Revenant of Skien, the reborn spirit of Skien, a corrupted general who went insane during the war. He has no minions.

Revenant of Skien has 11 phases, the most of any enemy in the game, with a total of 150500 health. The phases vary in elemental defenses and favored spells, with the rate of spell-casting generally increasing as the battle progresses - the final phase casts spells essentially continuously. He uses Heavy Charge, Multihit, and Arrow Storm, eschewing spells that could be interpreted as "villager magic" like Flamethrower and Teleport. His phases are all melee-based, with varying attack patterns, and he often casts spells in bursts, using the same spell 5-10 times with no cooldown before stopping for a while.
