The Equipment Merchant is a unique merchant found in the Sunset Valley, alongside the Trinket Merchant. They sold rewards for the Battle for the Bonfire minigame found in the Valley, which was most recently available during the 2023 Festival of the Bonfire between 11th August and 2nd September, 2023.
The Equipment Merchant acted as both an Armour Merchant and a Weapon Merchant, selling exclusive items that couldn't be obtained elsewhere. The armour pieces range from level 36 to 79, while the weapons are all level 62. All the items they sold are untradable and cost 6 to 12
Sunlit Copper Coins, the currency awarded in Battle for the Bonfire.
Since Version 2.0.2, the items sold by the Equipment Merchant can also be bought year-round from the Bonfire Merchant on the Isles of Fiction, for an inflated price in
Emeralds.
