The 2.0.3 update, also known as the Lootrun Update, is a minor update to Wynncraft that released on 12 July 2023. It is notable for revamping Lootrunning among various other changes.

Additions

New Lootrunning System

  • Loot Chests are now client-side instead of server-side, meaning every player now has their own unique chests that can't be accessed by others.

Silverbull Syndicates

  • The Silverbull Trading Company recently opened their headquarters near Cinfras. They can be visited to learn more about the Lootrunning Division.
  • You can level up through the syndicate to unlock more features for lootruns, which include new beacon effects and bonuses.
  • Lootrun Camps can be found in certain areas, and interacting with a Lootrun Master will start a lootrun (You need to join the Lootrunning Division first by talking to the Lootrun Chief).
    • Different colored beacons will lead players to particular challenges, such as exploring a cave or defending a statue. Successfully completing challenges gives loot and special lootrunning bonuses based on beacon selection.
    • The more lootruns that are completed, the more an End Reward is improved after finishing a lootrun.

The Content Book

  • The Content Book replaces the Quest Book, and now shows different types of caves, quests, dungeons, and many other things.
  • Content is recommended based on progression and how close it is.
    • Filters can be set to have the classic Quest Book experience.
  • Quests important to the story will have a 'Storyline' tag.

New Dungeon: The Timelost Sanctum

  • Enter a dungeon trapped in time, forever preserved in a moment of perfection. Complete its challenges in any order, which become more difficult as the spell is disrupted and the sanctum is pulled closer to the present day.
  • Replaces the Lost Sanctuary.
  • Level 27
  • Challenges can be completed in any order, becoming more difficult as you progress.
  • Corrupted Lost Sanctuary will still be in the game for now.
