The Hearthflame Stave is a Legendary Utility Trinket obtainable during the annual Festival of the Bonfire, which most recently ran from 23rd August through 15th September, 2024. It could be purchased from the Sunset Valley Trinket Merchant for 32
Sunlit Copper Coins, the reward currency from the Battle for the Bonfire minigame in the Valley.

When the Hearthflame Stave is used, it creates a Healing Bonfire at your location that heals all players within 10 blocks from its position for 1% of their health every 2 seconds. The Bonfire remains for 30 seconds, healing a maximum total of 15% of your health. After it disappears, the Stave can be used and another Healing Bonfire summoned after a 2-minute cooldown.

Dialogue

During the festival, showing the Hearthflame Stave to the Bonfire Keeper in the center of Detlas unlocked hidden dialogue:

• Bonfire Keeper: Ah, yes. A Hearthflame Stave. Not unique, certainly, but still a rather powerful item. It harnesses that innate healing power, and offers it to those in need.
• Bonfire Keeper: The glow of the bonfire takes many different forms, you see. It protects and heals those it holds dear, while burning any who would dare harm them.
• Bonfire Keeper: ...Oh, but don't worry about me! You'll always fall under that first category, friend.

Trivia

• During the Festival of the Bonfire, the Healing Bonfire healed 5% of your health per 2 seconds. This was nerfed to 1% at the end of the festival.
• This item was first available in the 2022 Festival of the Bonfire, for a lower price of 20
  Sunlit Copper Coins. It was subsequently made available again in 2023 and 2024.
