King Draani VIII of Rodoroc is the current ruler of Rodoroc and the commander of the armies of Rodoroc and Maex. He lives in the Rodoroc Royal Palace, and, as mentioned by a Rodoroc Citizen, spends almost all of his time directing the city from there, with no one else allowed in.

The King of Rodoroc is located on his throne in the main room of the Rodoroc Royal Palace. After The Breaking Point is completed, he can occasionally be found in New Taloka.
Quest Appearances
During Dwarves and Doguns Part II, when Axelus and the player ask the king to call of the war against the Doguns, the king refuses and imprisons Axelus for continuing to try to convince him.
At the end of Dwarves and Doguns Part IV, the King calls off the war and agrees to work out a peace treaty with the Dogun Chieftain, later thanking the player for their attempts to bring peace between the two species.
In The Breaking Point, the player encounters the king and he helps the player unfreeze the Dogun Elders, so that The Colossus can be calmed.

Dwarves and Doguns Part II
After completing the quest:
- King of Rodoroc: Leave now and I won't send the dwarven army on you. You don't want to get hunted like the Doguns, do you?
- King of Rodoroc: And Axelus, leave the city. You are no longer my son.
The Breaking Point
Talking to King Draani while in the Vault of Ice parkour:
- King Draani: What are you waiting for? Use my hook to get to the override switch at the end of this cave!
Talking to King Draani before unfreezing the Elders with the Everflame:
- King Draani: Come, <playername>. We must unfreeze the Elders and get them to listen to us. Bring the flame, I will meet you at the Vault.
In New Taloka after the quest is completed:
- King Draani: Ah, <playername>! Excellent to see you again, I hope you've been well. I like to pop in to New Taloka now and then to keep an eye on things, you won't always see me here.
Trivia
- He was shown to be extremely immoral before Axelus' death, planning to destroy the Dogun's Retreat and drive the Doguns to extinction so that he would be known as the "King who brought peace", and in A Hunter's Calling, it is seen that he would've ordered Rodoroc's slums to have been caved in just to make land, causing a civil war. It is implied this would-be war turned Rodoroc into ruins.
