Leather is a Tier 0 Crafting Ingredient.
Obtaining
Leather can be obtained by killing Cows found in Katoa Ranch, the Durum Isles, and Rymek.
The following mobs can drop Leather:
- Cow (Lv. 1)
- Cow (Lv. 53) (Guaranteed)
- Enraged Bull (Guaranteed)
Usage
Leather can be sold at a Blacksmith or from your Ingredient Pouch in exchange for Emeralds. It can also be traded to other players via the Trade Market or personal trading. 8 Leather is needed to access the Bovine Barn Boss Altar.
Crafting

Leather can be used in the Armouring and Tailoring professions to increase defense by a small amount.
