Farmer Cevalus cần sự giúp đỡ của bạn in destroying a corrupted pest plaguing his farm. The player is tasked to poison the farm in order to get rid of the farmer's corrupted father.

Stage 1

» Talk to Farmer Cevalus at [-749, 67, -1664]

Dialogue:

• Farmer Cevalus: Ah, looks like a fresh recruit!
• Farmer Cevalus: Recently, my dear step-father passed away and I buried him out back. Well, he's not there anymore... the corruption has got to his body.
• Farmer Cevalus: He became an invincible beast! We should use my fresh Corkian sprinklers to poison the pest! I have a spare [1 Crate of Rat Poison] here...
• Farmer Cevalus: I am too weak to get past the pest myself, could you help me out recruit?
• Farmer Cevalus: If you poison the water reservoir on the other side of the farm field after you enter, you can watch as the pest makes his way back to the grave!

Stage 2

» Take the [1 Crate of Rat Poison] and enter the farm

If you talk to Farmer Cevalus now, he will say:

• Farmer Cevalus: Have you at least attempted to get rid of that pest yet? Remember, the water reservoir is on the other end of this here field.

Stage 3

» Dump the crate of rat poison into the water reservoir on the other side of the farm at [-3669, 63, -1416]

After you do this, the corrupt farmer will shoot fireballs at a greater rate.
You will be unable to leave the farm without activating the sprinklers.

Stage 4

» Toggle the farm's irrigation sprinkler near the entrance at [-4987, 63, -1396]
Dialogue:

• Farmer Cevalus: Hurry and enable the sprinklers with the button near the farm's entrance before it can do any more damage!

Stage 5

» Watch the corrupt farmer die, then kill the pests.
A cutscene will play of the corrupt farmer taking damage and blowing up parts of the farm, then exploding violently.
Dialogue:

• Farmer Cevalus: Look at the body!
• Farmer Cevalus: There are Pests burrowing out of it. KILL THEM!

Two pests will spawn. Killing one will trigger the first line of dialogue here; killing both will trigger the second.

• Farmer Cevalus: Just one more to kill.
• Farmer Cevalus: Well done! Come back to me for a reward.

Stage 6

» Exit the farm and talk to farmer Cevalus

Stage 7

» Talk to Farmer Cevalus at [-749, 67, -1664]

Dialogue:

• Farmer Cevalus: Great job getting rid of that corrupt varmint, I can't thank you enough!
• Farmer Cevalus: I mean... poor step-dad. I don't know how I'll explain this to the wife...
• Farmer Cevalus: Take this well-deserved reward for the risky actions you took today. I also give you access to my second farm in the back, take whatever you need there!
  
  
  

Tips

• The Crate of Rat Poison is located to the right of Farmer Cevalus.
• You can avoid the Corrupt Farmer's fireballs by using the hay bales as cover.

Trivia

• This quest was reworked from Thieving Rodents in the 1.17 Dungeons and Discoveries Update.
• This is the first quest that introduces the player to cutscenes.
