The Raging Tower is a Cave found in the Detlas Suburbs. This tower is the main location featured in the level 8 quest, Taking the Tower.

This tower was formerly a structure used by the Wynnic army to defend against the Corruption, although in recent times it has fallen to it and has become a corrupted stronghold. At the top lies the being commanding this force, the Fire Flak.

The second floor of this tower is a brief parkour section. Latticework of the floor can be a hazard that will send the player back to the previous room. A Tier 2 [✫✫✫✫] Loot Chest is found at the end.

Floor 3

The third floor of the tower is a running section with several Zombies and Slag Coats, the latter of which turn into Cinders.

The final floor of the tower is a simple boss arena with the Fire Flak at the top. The Fire Flak has four phases, with the first one being entirely passive and ignoring the presence of the player. The second phase will turn it into a burst-ranged mob, firing a large cloud of inaccurate particles towards the player. When the second phase is defeated, it will split into two Fire Flaks, which have the same HP and elemental stats as the previous phase, except now it is regular ranged. Defeating the third phase of one of the Fire Flaks will turn it into two Fire Fletchettes, the final phase of the miniboss. Two Fire Fletchettes are required to open the Tier 4 [✫✫✫✫] Loot Chest above the arena. After the fight is completed, there will be a pool of water to jump down in for a safe landing.

Trivia

  • Prior to the 2.0.3 update, the lore of this tower was different, instead being the former tower of a soldier called Van, who would later be forcibly evicted by the corrupted in the tower, causing him to live as a vagrant.
  • Prior to the 1.20 update, there was instead a secret found where the cave is now, a minor easter egg could be activated here. Five players would stand on stone pressure plates which would then cause a hole to appear, opening what seems to be a crypt. To exit the crypt, there is a room with a sign that says "A b*w wi** li*ht t*e w*y." (A bow will light the way.), which hinted towards an Archer being needed to exit the crypt.
