Slykaar is a shaman from Troms who can be found in the Undergrowth Ruins dungeon. In 831 AP, the King of Troms hired him to protect Troms from the corrupted forces, at the expense of many civilian lives which were needed as a sacrifice to fuel his magic. Eventually, Bob came to Troms in order to train with Fier - master of the spear - and became the new protector of Troms thanks to his services. Slykaar fled underground to the Undergrowth Ruins, where he continues creating the slimes that inhabit the main Troms Jungle through the medium of dark magic. Slykaar's old house is still present outside of Troms, and it contains a secret entrance to a mysterious location known only as Slykaar's Dimension.
Combat
Phase 1: Shaman of Slime
Slykaar's main form of attack is using his Relik to send out beams that leave slime wherever they go. The beams hurt players caught in them and the slime poisons players caught in it. Slykaar uses various abilities throughout the first phase:
- Spread Bounce: Used whenever, a sound will play before Slykaar will summon a launcher to bounce himself to the other side of the arena, leaving behind slime.
- Slime Animation: Used when Slykaar's HP is below 85% (52,275), he will pound his Relik into the ground as several Slimelings spawn from the slime trail.
- Viscous Rain: Used when Slykaar's HP is below 65% (39,975), he will raise his Relik to summon a raincloud that pours slime as it circles around the arena.
The Slimelings he summons will jump toward the player and turn into slime when they land.
Phase 2: Gelatinous Giant
Subphase 1: Slime Armor
Once Slykaar is at around 6,150 HP, he will say the following lines of dialogue:
- Slykaar: NO! You... ungrateful miscrent.
- Slykaar: No. NO. This ISN'T over.
He will then move to the center of the arena as the viscous rain clouds congeal in the same spot, covering it in slime as several beams start to surround him as he plunges himself into the slime, reemerging as a hulking slime monster. The outer edges of the arena are coated in slime as the second phase begins.
Slykaar's main attacks in this form are him tossing slime at the player and whacking the player if they get too close to him, knocking the player back. He also now leaves a trail of slime behind him wherever he goes. Slykaar uses similar abilities, albeit in a more physical manner:
- Slime Throw: Used whenever, Slykaar will pull out a large chunk of slime from the ground and throw it at the player, leaving behind slime where the chunk lands.
- Slimeling Creation: Used whenever, Slykaar will reach into his body and pull out 5 Slimelings that create a small amount of slime where they land.
- Slime Surf: Used whenever, Slykaar will quickly surf from one spot of the arena to the other.
- Slime Lob: Used when Slykaar's HP is below 65% (27,625), Slykaar will pull out a giant chunk of slime from the ground and throw it at the player, leaving behind a circle of slime wherever it lands before splitting up into 2 smaller chunks of slime that bounce away and do the same thing.
Subphase 2: Skeleton
After Slykaar is seemingly defeated, he still persists, although he is now reduced to a few chunks of slime coating a skeleton. The slime in the arena from the last subphase also disappears except for the spot Slykaar's at. He has similar spells from before alongside a new spell:
- Slimeling Scavenging: Used whenever, Slykaar will pull out 3 Slimelings and 2 small chunks of slime from his body.
- Slime Volley: Used whenever, Slykaar will pull out a 4 small chunks of slime from the ground and throw it at the player, leaving behind slime where the chunks land.
- Recoating Ritual: Used whenever, Slykaar will raise his hand into the air and turn all of the slime in the arena into Sludgelings. Slykaar is invulnerable during this attack. The sludgelings will go to Slykaar and rejoin him, which turns him back into his Slime Armor subphase with the same amount of damage dealt to him, though killing Sludgelings can reduce the amount healed. When Slykaar transitions into this subphase, he lets out a large ring of slime that coats the arena similar to the first phase transition. The Skeleton subphase is not healed by this attack, and will still be at whatever HP Slykaar is prior to regaining his Slime Armor.
After Slykaar has been defeated, he will flail his arms around in an effort to balance himself before he falls over, breaking apart his lower backbone.

Trivia
- Slykaar's fight has received some changes throughout Wynncraft's history:
- Some time prior to the 1.14.1 Gameplay Update, what would become the Undergrowth Ruins (the Jungle Mini-Dungeon) had a boss called Slyyam, which was simply a large slime.
- In the 1.14.1 Gameplay Update, Slyyam was replaced with Slykaar as the Jungle Mini-Dungeon became the Undergrowth Ruins. Slykaar's fight was fairly simple, with him starting off as a giant slime that would shrink down as his phases went by until he became his human form.
- In 1.19 Silent Expanse, Slykaar's fight was revamped to include three big slimes, all of which were called Bevonatu Slykaar. Two of these slimes would create minions for the fight, being either a group of Takertuva Slimes that could easily swarm the player or a Vointi Slime which would heal Slykaar. The slime with the most HP was Slykaar himself. After killing Slykaar's Bevonatu form, he would then fight the player in his human state.
- In 2.1 Rekindled World, Slykaar's fight was revamped into what it is now.
