Water the newly planted tree. Once the tree is planted, water it and keep up a regular schedule of watering. This will help the roots become established in the surrounding soil.

The Yahya Sapling is an item obtainable during the Festival of the Blizzard, which ran from 10th December, 2021 until 3rd January, 2022. It could be obtained from 25th December onward as a gift from Yahya while he was hiding in the Craftmas tree in the center of Detlas, after completing a series of hidden objectives. Unlike nearly all other rewards from the Festival of the Blizzard, the Sapling is untradable.

In order to obtain the Sapling, one first had to invite The Cook to the Festival, then ask him for a Hastily-Prepared Meal to be given to Gerald the Yeti to convince him to move out of the way of the tree. Inside, Yahya would ask for a "mushroom tree" (a Yahya Tree), which can be obtained at the Wynnter Fair at the cost of 64 Craftmas Gifts. After returning to Yahya with a Yahya Tree, he would reward players with the Sapling.

The Yahya Sapling currently has no known use except as a collectible. It is currently unobtainable as of the 2023 iteration of the Festival of the Blizzard.
