Spiritual Shards are a condensed reward currency obtained from the Banish the Beyond minigame during the annual Festival of the Spirits, which most recently ran from 13th October through 5th November, 2023. Each Spiritual Shard is worth eight
Spiritual Essence, and can be converted at the Trinket Merchant in The Beyond; unlike Essence, Shards are tradable, but they cannot be converted back into Essence. Small quantities could also be obtained from Suspicious Skulls, from the Drawing of the Spirits activity, or from the Spooky Detlas Mystery.

Spiritual Shards could be used to purchase a variety of exclusive items from various merchants during the festival, including the Trinket and Armour Merchants in the Beyond, and the Skull and Assistant Mask Merchants in Detlas. Eight Shards could also be converted at the Assistant Mask Merchant into one
Condensed Soul Crystal.
