Obtaining

Subsuming Darkness can be obtained as a drop from Blade of Shade at the Challenge of the Blades boss altar in the Kander Forest. It cannot be found in Loot Chests.

Usage

Subsuming Darkness can be sold at a Blacksmith or from your Ingredient Pouch in exchange for Emeralds. It can also be traded to other players via the Trade Market or personal trading.

Subsuming Darkness can be used in the Weaponsmithing and Woodworking professions to add life steal to a weapon at the cost of melee damage and a dexterity requirement.
