Molten Salamanders are level 92 Hostile Mobs that can be encountered during the Molten Heights Hike Lootrun.
Combat
Molten Salamanders are large melee enemies that follow the player and deal damage by coming into contact with them. Like other lootrunning mobs, they will gain more health and attack damage with each successive challenge.
Molten Salamanders deal ✹ Fire damage with their attacks and take reduced ✹ Fire and ✤ Earth damage; they also take increased damage from ✽ Water attacks.
Molten Salamanders will periodically use the Heavy Charge ability, leaping towards the player and exploding and dealing damage where they land, as well as the Heavy Flamethrower ability, stopping and creating an enormous cloud of fire that deals rapid damage to the player if caught inside.
Drops
Molten Salamanders cannot drop anything.
Location
Molten Salamanders are found at the Overflowing Magma, a destroy objective near New Taloka east of Rodoroc that can be encountered during Molten Heights Hike Lootruns. They will spawn continuously until the challenge objective is destroyed alongside weaker and more numerous Molten Larvae and Molten Tadpoles.
