Sapwood Meliae are level 99 Hostile Mobs that can be encountered during the Molten Heights Hike Lootrun.
Combat
Sapwood Meliae are large, tanky melee enemies that follow their target and deal damage by coming into contact with them. Like other lootrunning mobs, they will gain more health and attack damage with each successive challenge.
Sapwood Meliae deal ✽ Water damage with their attacks, and take reduced ✽ Water and ✤ Earth damage; they also take more damage from ✹ Fire attacks.
Sapwood Meliae will periodically use the Heavy Charge ability, leaping towards the player and exploding and dealing damage where they land, as well as the Wave ability, dealing damage and hampering the player's maneuverability over a wide area.
Drops
Sapwood Meliae cannot drop anything.
Location
Sapwood Meliae are found at the Flerisi Sapling, a defend objective at a large Flerisi tree northwest of Maex that can be encountered during Molten Heights Hike Lootruns. They will spawn periodically during the challenge alongside Barkmunchers and Steamdouse Apparitions, exclusively attacking the player.
