1.17, also known as the "Dungeons & Discoveries" update, was a major update to Wynncraft.

Additions

Territorial Discoveries
- Very minor discoveries you get from exploring new Territories
- Give a very small amount of Combat XP
World Discoveries
- Discoveries you get from exploring new, more major locations on the map, such as towns
- Give a small amount of Combat XP
- Tell lore of the area found
Secret Discoveries
- Secrets around the map meant to be found, unlike easter eggs
- Often require interacting with the environment to find
- Give a moderate amount of Combat XP
- Tell lore about the area
- Finding all Secret Discoveries in a region unlocks the region's Ultimate Discovery, which can tell major lore information
- Added Secret Discoveries to Wynn Plains, Corkus Island and one discovery in Nesaak Tundra

Many new cosmetic Loot Crate rewards
- Also added a new cosmetic tier above Godly: Black Market
New Boss Altar: Altar of Sanctification
Added Glassblowing Merchant in Almuj
Added Shifting Sandpiles in the Desert
The Mask Merchant in the Ravine Village sells more masks now
