Armored Tank A16-L31s are powerful level 103 Hostile Mobs found throughout Corkus Island.

Combat

Armored Tank A16-L31s are very large, tanky melee enemies that stomp towards the player and deal damage in a short radius with each footfall.

Armored Tank A16-L31s deal
Fire,
Earth, and
Thunder damage with their attacks, and take reduced damage from all
Fire,
Air, and
Water attacks.

Armored Tanks are immune to all Knockback and Blindness effects. They will also use the following abilities in combat:

  • Mortar: The Armored Tank's main attack, telegraphed by a reticle of red particles. The Tank will launch a missile in an arc toward the player that will explode where it lands.
  • Mortar Volley: The Armored Tank will shoot four missiles in quick succession.
  • Tank Charge: Occasionally used while the player is in melee range, the Armored Tank will make a mechanical sound before leaping a short distance forward, dealing heavy damage in a small radius around itself when it lands.
  • Overload: After being reduced to 0 health, the Armored Tank will sound an alarm and cease moving for ? seconds before exploding, dealing massive damage in a large radius around itself.

Drops

Armored Tank A16-L31s may drop Normal Items, Unidentified Items, Emeralds, Powders, and Potions of Healing.

Location

Armored Tank A16-L31s occasionally spawn in areas of Corkus Island overtaken by mechs, such as the scrapyards surrounding the Fallen Factory and on the plateau near Nettik's lighthouse. They are generally found among other robots such as L-21 Munition and L-22 Enforcer Drones, or H-101 and H-208 War Machines. Several Armored Tanks also spawn during the Decommissioned War Machines World Event in southwestern Corkus.

Armored Tanks (outside of World Events) notably have the unique characteristic that they will become "inactive" from dawn until dusk, ceasing all movement as well as becoming invulnerable to damage.

Trivia

  • An Armored Tank A16-L31 was one of the first new mobs to be revealed in the leadup to the 2.1 Rekindled World update.
  • Despite the A16-L31 Handheld Mortar, a Fabled Relik, being named after the Armored Tank, they cannot drop it; it can only be obtained as a reward after completing the Decommissioned War Machines event.
