Marksman Drones are level 92 Hostile Mobs found throughout Corkus Island.

Combat

Marksman Drones are enemies that will slowly wander where they spawn. They attack primarily using their beam ability, and will not otherwise retaliate when attacked.

Marksman Drones take reduced damage from all
Air and
Thunder attacks. They will also use the following abilities in combat:

  • Sniper Beam: The Marksman Drone's main attack, telegraphed by a reticle of red particles. Every 20-30 seconds, the Drone will stand still and begin locking on to a player in its line of sight for 5 seconds before firing a hitscan beam at its target, dealing massive damage on a direct hit. This attack has an extremely long range, but can be avoided by moving just before it fires or by staying behind cover.
  • Detonate: When killed, the Marksman Drone will instantly explode, dealing damage in a small radius around itself.

Marksman Drones may drop Normal Items, Unidentified Items, Emeralds, Powders, and Potions of Healing, in addition to the following Crafting Ingredients:

Location

Marksman Drones are solitary units that occasionally spawn in certain locations throughout Corkus Island, particularly on high ground overlooking the road between Corkus City and the Fallen Factory where they make use of their long-ranged attacks. Several Marksman Drones also spawn during the Despermech Occupation World Event at the crossroads southeast of Corkus City.
