Nascent Blinders are level 99 Hostile Mobs spawned by
Blinders in the Eyeball Forest.
Combat
While disengaged in combat, Nascent Blinders will wander around the Eyeball Forest in search for prey. Once one notices the player, it will engage in combat with them.
Nascent Blinders are melee enemies that follow the player and deal damage by attacking at close range. Their basic attack is a one-handed strike with a hitbox in front of themselves. They have decreased health, damage, and speed compared to regular Blinders.
Nascent Blinders have no elemental affinities. They will use a large suite of abilities in combat:
- Blinding Strikes: A variation of the Nascent Blinder's basic melee where it will charge forward in a straight line for a short time, making five repeated melee attacks.
- Blind Frenzy: Telegraphed by a puff of white particles, the Nascent Blinder will double its movement speed until the next time it makes a melee attack. Used only while the Blinder is more than 5.5 blocks away from its target.
- Lunge: The Nascent Blinder will crouch before leaping forward in a high arc, dealing damage in a ~1.5-block radius when it hits the ground.
- Precise Lunge: The Nascent Blinder will crouch before leaping to the position directly above its target, regardless of their position; it will momentarily halt mid-air before slamming directly down, dealing significantly more damage on impact than the normal Lunge in a ~2.5-block radius. Used only if the Blinder has been alive for at least 30 seconds.
- Evade: The Nascent Blinder will sidestep a short distance to the left or right and strike any nearby players in a ~1- or ~3-block radius around itself.
Drops
Nascent Blinders may drop Normal Items, Unidentified Items, Emeralds, Powders, and Potions of Healing, in addition to the following Crafting Ingredients:

Location
Nascent Blinders spawn only when summoned by a Blinders.
Blinders can be found throughout the Eyeball Forest in many places that regular Blinders can spawn, though much more rarely. If hunting for it, it can be difficult to distinguish it at a glance from other Blinders; however, it can be identified visually both by its purple
Rare tag, as well as the many additional eyes on its body.
Two Blinders instances also spawn during the first wave of the All Eyes on Me World Event in the Eyeball Forest.
