Pterygium Blooms are level 102 Hostile Mobs that can be encountered during the Silent Expanse Expedition Lootrun.
Combat
Pterygium Blooms are melee enemies that follow the player and deal damage by coming into contact with them. Like other lootrunning mobs, they will gain more health and attack damage with each successive challenge.
Pterygium Blooms take reduced damage from ✽ Water and ✤ Earth attacks, but more damage from ✹ Fire attacks.
Pterygium Blooms are immune to Knockback. They will periodically use the Arrow Storm ability, stopping and rapidly shooting several inaccurate projectiles at the player.
Drops
Pterygium Blooms cannot drop anything.
Location
Pterygium Blooms are found at the Spire of Eyes, a destroy objective in the Eyeball Forest that can be encountered during Silent Expanse Expedition Lootruns. They will spawn continuously until the challenge objective is destroyed alongside numerous Flowering Panoptes, and less common Scions and Guranas.

- A pterygium is a benign growth of the conjunctiva tissue onto the cornea of the eye.
- According to Builder Deusphage, the Pterygium Bloom is "even more like bark than its flowering counterpart. Twigs and branches protrude from its form, ending in small blossoms."
