The 1.20.3 update was a minor update to Wynncraft released on July 5th, 2021. The full changelog can be found here.
Additions
Guilds
Guild Seasons
- A new system of Season Rating (SR) points have been added.
- Holding and attacking Territories now gives you SR.
- Guilds can gain rewards immediately upon reaching a certain SR threshold. These can include:
- Guild Capes
- Exclusive Season Banner
- Special Badges
- Guild Tomes
- Guild XP Boosts
- The Guild Crown
- Guild Bank Slots
- SR generation increases the further into a season.
- All territories are reset once a season ends and guilds will gain various rewards based on SR.
Weekly Objectives
- Unlocked once a Guild reaches Level 10.
- Each member gets one weekly goal every Monday.
- Once completed, you will get rewards with a high amount of Loot Quality factored in.
- The rewards improve if you maintain a streak.
- Your guild will also gain rewards if more members complete their Weekly Objective, these being:
- Guild Tomes
- Guild XP
- Emeralds
- Banner Points
- Banner Points allow you to change your banner design or increase your banner tier.
Other
- Added a Guild Banner NPC to Housing.
- The Treasury system was added.
- The longer a guild controls a territory, the more resources it will generate.
- Capturing that territory will yield instant bonus resources to the attackers.
- The Defender bonus is reduced the further a territory is from the HQ.
- The Guild Hall now shows a leaderboard of the top guilds and the rewards for a Guild Season.
- The maximum tax rate has been reduced from 80% to 40%.
- The minimum tax rate has been increased from 1% to 5%.
- Pity cost will only increase if the guild losing the territory has owned that specific territory for at least 1 hour.
- A confirm button was added to set your HQ.
- Tributes from allies will appear in the guild inputs and outputs.
- Whoever is being aggro'd by a Guild Tower during a war will have their name bolded on the scoreboard.
- Some trade routes have been fixed.
- Storage upgrades are now less effective for the price. In turn, HQs now get a flat storage bonus as well.
- Changed some territory resources and connections to improve defense capabilities, most notably in the Jungle and Corkus.
- The Guild Banner menu has been upgraded.
- Banners now show Guild Badges.
- The maximum war team size has been reduced from 6 players to 5.
- Updated territory difficulty estimation to include special bonuses such as Aura or Volley.
- HQ bonuses scale up based on more territories being controlled.
- Arrow Shield now does less damage to a Guild Tower.
- Added Territory Loadouts, which allow you to save pre-made templates for territory bonuses and settings.
Changes
Crowd Control Immunity
- CCI has been separated into 3 parts: Knockback, Blindness, and Slowness Immunity.
- Mobs with CCI will now show what types they have on their boss bar and the status of each one.
- If a CCI icon is green, then it is vulnerable to the crowd control, however, it will turn yellow for a few seconds, meaning it is unable to be affected by it.
- If a CCI icon is red, then it is unable to be affected by the crowd control.
Items
- Added a new Major ID, Fission.
- Explosions from your Exploding ID are twice as big and strong.
- Strength and Dexterity will now affect the overall damage output instead of the base damage.
- To compensate for the previous implementation of this in the 1.20 Hotfix #6, several items have been rebalanced as a result of this.
- New Guild Tomes have been added.
- The Explosive Impact Major ID will now only trigger with your main attack.
- The Flashfreeze Major ID will now slow mobs down by an additional second.
Other
- Added text emojis for the CCI icons, emeralds, and also added a pride flag.
- Certain Raid bosses have been rebalanced to deal fairer damage, mostly by reducing the amount of true damage.
- Added safeguards for a Canyon Colossus bug that could sometimes trap players.
- Improved scoreboard stability.
- /ignore will no longer hide players with Hunted enabled.
- Improved armor stand model stability.
- Several bugs were fixed.
Hotfixes
Hotfix #1
- Improved Treasury attacker bonuses, as you will now receive much more emeralds than before and will no longer have to wait before the first treasury tier is enabled.
- Some set bonuses have been rebalanced.
- Several bugs have been fixed.
Hotfix #2
- Stable Story's combat level requirement has been reduced from 34 to 13. It was also slightly improved.
- Added an animation for scrapping cosmetics.
- Improved texture pack loading.
- Added more pet dialogues.
- When connecting to Wynncraft, it will now put you in the server best-recommended for you. You can alternatively use the IP lobby.wynncraft.com to bypass this.
- Several bugs have been fixed.
Hotfix #3
- Added a bonfire in the middle of Detlas alongside the Bonfire Tender NPC for the 2021 Festival of the Bonfire.
- HP Regen IDs and effects will not be boosted by the 3x HP housing rule anymore.
- Several bugs have been fixed.
Other Minor Updates
- The Festival of the Bonfire has been added, which is a limited-time event that has unique cosmetics available through Bonfire Crates.
