The 1.20.4 update was a minor update to Wynncraft released on September 24th, 2021. The full changelog can be found here.
Additions
Items
- Five new Mythic Items have been added, these being Convergence, Quetzalcoatl, Epoch, Oblivion, and Immolation.
- A new Major ID was added, Geocentrism.
- Aura radiates from you instead of your totem and can be cast at any time.
- This Major ID was applied to the new Fabled Item, Narcissist.
Emerald Pouches
- Emerald Pouches have been added. These can be found in Tier III and Tier IV Loot Chests with varying rarity and effectiveness and allow you to store a certain amount of Emeralds inside of them.
- Some Emerald Pouches of higher tiers can convert regular Emeralds to Emerald Blocks or Liquid Emeralds.
Other Additions
- Added a Potion Merchant NPC to Housing.
- Added a sound effect for drinking potions.
Changes
Raid Party Finder
- Raid Party Finders have been improved.
- You can now join the queue anywhere on the map by using /partyfinder. Once a party has successfully formed, all members will be teleported to the Raid.
- The Party Finder will also sometimes ask players nearby in towns if they want to join to make the queue faster.
Items
- Several items have been rebalanced.
- Sorcery will no longer repeat movement spells anymore.
Auto-Stacking Health Potions
- Health Potions now Auto-Stack into a single potion with up to 30 charges (10 potions).
Guilds
- Guild resources traversing between territories will no longer get deleted when patches are pushed.
- Guild Seasons will now last around 1.5 to 2 months instead of 3 months long.
- Fixed a bug that made Guild Towers attack players who weren't the closest.
- New territories that are captured will progressively give less SR.
- The first few territories you capture will have an SR buff.
Other
- Nerfed all Skill Point Potions.
- Buffed all Mana Potions.
- The tax amount will now be included on the highest/lowest price check feature on the Trade Market.
- The Frozen Fort grind spot now has changes made that make it less abusable while AFK.
- Shaman's Uproot spell now only resets the Totem timer if you're near it.
- Chunk loading has improved.
- Reduced the Party XP sharing range.
- Made improvements to Loot Chest level detection.
- Loot Bonus no longer affects emerald drop rates.
- Emerald drop rates from Loot Chests have been reduced by about 20%.
- Crafted item skill point bonuses now decay as any other Identification on a Crafted Item.
- Crafted items no longer decay their negative IDs.
- Several bugs have been fixed.

Hotfix #1
- You can now equip Accessories by shift-clicking them.
- Shift-clicking unidentified items will no longer try to equip them on you.
- Tier IX Emerald Pouch drop rates are now less rare.

- Cinfras has been changed to feel brighter.
- Shared Party XP is now split between each eligible party member.
- Party members will need to have killed a mob recently to be eligible for shared Party XP.
- Reduced Identification costs for Fabled and Set items.
- The Dialogue History limit has been increased to 30 messages.
- Several quests now have failsafes and minor improvements in them.
- The Spider Grind Spot around Mount Wynn now gives less XP.
- The Desert Pyramid Grind Spot in the Almuj Desert now gives more XP.
- Several bugs have been fixed.
Hotfix #3
- Attacking a territory with free wars too quickly now increases the attack timer gradually. This won't apply to regular attacks and only lasts temporarily.
- Territory transfers now have an hour cooldown before they can be transferred again.
- Hitbox entities now charge Powder Specials.
- Made several changes to the default Guild Arena to make the gameplay more linear and fair.
- The Festival of the Blizzard has been added, which is a limited time event based on the Christmas season with several unique NPCs, a redecorated Detlas, and several unique cosmetics from Blizzard Crates.
- Added support for Minecraft version 1.18 and 1.18.1.
- The Trade Market view order button will now show properly formatted emeralds instead of raw for easier visualization.
- General performance and stability improvements.

- Transferred territories are now blocked from being attacked for 10 minutes.
- A Territory Pity has been added, in which the attack price for territories will no longer increase if you lose multiple territories.
- Reduced the frequency of Recruit a Friend messages.
- Improved performance.
- World restart messages have been improved to be friendlier to newer players.
- Several quests now have failsafes and minor improvements in them.
- Several bugs have been fixed.
Other Minor Updates
- The Festival of the Spirits has been added, which is a limited time event based on the Halloween season with three unique NPCs, a redecorated Detlas, and several unique cosmetics from Spirit Crates.
- The Recruit feature has been added. By inviting new players or old players back to Wynncraft you can get +30% more Party XP together and receive special rewards depending on how many people you have invited.
- To recruit a friend, you can go to the Recruit a Friend feature on the compass menu or use /recruit <playername>.
- New players can be instantly recruited, but they will need to complete King's Recruit in order to get rewards.
