Experimental Teleportation Scrolls would have been Rare Teleport Scrolls that could be purchased and used after completing the level 79 quest Fallen Delivery. They were sold by a Teleportation Merchant on the upper floor of Gawrick's house in Cinfras for 8
Emerald Blocks each.

When used, an Experimental Teleportation Scroll would teleport the user to one of several random locations; another scroll could be used again after a 10-second cooldown. Unlike normal Teleport Scrolls, they did not cost any Soul Points to use.

These scrolls were only present in-game during the 2.0 Spellbound Update beta. They were replaced by Gawrick's Crazy Teleports system in the update's full release.

Possible Destinations

The possible destinations that can be reached using Experimental Teleportation Scrolls include a wide range of locations, mostly in Gavel Province in the level 75-85 range (although with some exceptions, such as the Galleon's Graveyard and the Ravine Village in Wynn). Several of these destinations are loot caves or other areas containing Tier III and IV Loot Chests; however, the random chance involved in using these scrolls makes them impractical for Lootrunning.

Additionally, there are some locations that can only be reached using these scrolls. Described by Gawrick as "pocket dimensions", these are small areas also containing Loot Chests around level 80-85.

  • Each of the "pocket dimensions" spawn Dimensional Wells, invisible, intangible entities of level 80-86 that serve to ensure the Loot Chests in these otherwise empty areas provide appropriately-levelled loot.
