Other Information
The Fruma Province is the player's home province.

Fruma is the fourth known province in Wynncraft. It is the province where the humans came from, and the player's homeland. The first mentions of Fruma in the game were implemented in the 1.14 Gavel Expansion, along with the addition of Ragni Outskirts. Though the province has yet to exist in the game, it is said to border the west of the Wynn Province and south of the Ocean. In the 1.15 Wynnter Update, Fruma's Gate can be seen and visited, although the player can not enter, and the gate is guarded by soldiers heeding the decree of the Fruman Queen. In the 1.19 Silent Expanse Update, the quest Recover the Past was reworked so that gives you a glimpse of life in Fruma. The player is also momentarily in Fruma during the tutorial. After the 2.0.1 update, Salted, the Head GM of Wynncraft, announced that the Fruma province will be the next major update. Recover the Past was redone in the Lootrun Update to tease some more features of Fruma.

Very little about Fruma is currently known, however thanks to lore uncovered in the secret library of Llevigar, the Province of Fruma has been described as the populous homeland of the human race in Wynncraft, led by powerful magic-wielding monarchs. These magical capabilities were withheld from the general population, and were considered far more powerful than that of Wynn's. The province itself is far older than the nearby Wynn Province, which was settled by Fruma humans.

In more recent times, the province of Fruma had been closed off to the province of Wynn, fearful of the disease that is the corruption and the Corruption War. Recently however, Fruma opened its gates once more and provided aid to the province in the form of fresh recruits, including the player themself. Now however, the Province of Fruma is generally considered inferior to that of the Wynn Province, which, having endured eras of conflict, had grown into a mighty realm of warriors and heroes, much to the lament of Fruma.

Despite the fact, Fruma proved a powerful ally of the Wynn Province, helping to repopulate cities when their residents were slaughtered, and providing a constant flow of new soldiers to aid the war effort.

In the quest Recover the Past, you see Fruman citizens, alongside Aledar and Tasim, get in trouble with the imperial guards. The citizens in Fruma are oppressed and are ruled with an iron fist.

Teased Features

  • Fruma has an area of slums, seen in Recover the Past.
  • Fruma has an area of autumn trees known as the Auburn Forest, seen in Recover the Past.
  • Fruma will be in the southwest corner of the map, south of Corkus and west of Wynn.
    • This also makes the map rectangular.
  • Fruma will be similar in size to the Wynn Plains.
  • Fruma will be very open and not as mountainous compared to other regions like the Silent Expanse.
  • Fruma won't have as much content gaps as Gavel used to have.
  • Fruma will be an endgame-focused region, starting at level 105 and increasing the level cap to at most 120.
  • A new town was teased a year after the Fruma Update was announced to be in development, Espren. Espren will be the first major town in Fruma, which is found within the Auburn Forest. The Auburn Forest is the poorest region in Fruma, but while it lacks money, it makes up for it in an abundance of natural resources.
  • The Fruman area of the Ragni Outskirts will be redone. The simple wooden door at the end of the area will be redone into a more imposing stone door.
  • The Royal Gate area will be redone to be more up-to-date with other builds in Wynncraft.

  • The only part of Fruma that is currently accessible is the very start of the Ragni Outskirts in King's Recruit, before the player enters Wynn through the gate separating the two provinces, never to return again for the time being.
  • The citizens of Corkus originate from Fruma.
  • The Seaskipper Captain will occasionally mention that you are from Fruma. He also tells that Fruma is "[not] a nice place to live in" according to rumors, the player seeing this firsthand in the Recover the Past quest.
  • The guard outside Ragni castle mentions Fruma, if you're a low-leveled player.
  • Fruma is a word derived from Old English meaning "origin".
  • In the Secret Easter Egg of ??? there was a mention of Sohso, the fourth scientist brother who studied Meteors, along with Yahya, Nohno and Mehme. He traveled to Fruma to escape the meteor magic that destroyed the others' minds.
  • The Fruman Royal Guard is called the Kai Shi[1].
    • The words 'Kai Shi' (开始) translate from Chinese to 'start', which references Fruma being the beginning of the player's adventure.
  • On the 30th December, 2022, the large gap where Fruma is going to be at was filled in with black blocks, and some Wynnic text was placed on it reading "COMING SOON".
